Who We Are
 

Nestled in the heart of Bucharest, NOEME is a testament to culinary excellence and family dedication. Founded by three sisters—Carmen, Alice, and Lacramioara—this restaurant blends traditional charm with modern sophistication, creating the perfect setting for unforgettable meals and private events.


At the helm is Chef Carmen, whose mastery of French techniques and local ingredients results in dishes that are true works of art. Paired with a curated selection of Romanian wines, each meal becomes an extraordinary experience, making NOEME ideal for corporate clients and food enthusiasts alike.​

Our balanced, innovative cuisine and artisanal local wines have consistently earned us top rankings on Google and TripAdvisor, along with a 2019 Gault & Millau nomination and the title of Best Woman Chef by Trends HRB in 2021. Interior design is a labor of love for us three sisters. We infused every detail with a blend of classical and contemporary styles, along with cherished antique pieces. A standout feature is the three large oak wood panels sculpted by our parents, each representing one of us, adding a personal touch to the space.

The restaurant features a mix of contemporary paintings by a renowned family friend from Piatra NeamÈ› and classic works by famous Romanian artists. Even the plates and cups are unique, as they were specially commissioned from local ceramic artists, enhancing your dining experience.

When we set out to create NOEME, we knew we wanted more than just a beautiful space—we wanted a place that felt like home, with a blend of elegance and warmth.

Finding the perfect spot wasn’t easy, but we were thrilled to discover this historic building, tucked away in the heart of Bucharest’s old Jewish neighborhood. It’s an area rich in history, and our restaurant fits right in.
